Ron Tapp
Mr. Tapp has been the manager of Portofino Destinations Club (formerly Portofino Club) since its inception in 2002. Prior to that, he was a consultant with Anderson Consulting, now doing business as Accenture. At Accenture he had a variety of responsibilities in managing geographic segments of the business and as a management consultant. He worked extensively in the creation of business strategies, company organizational structures, business processes and systems.
Mr. Tapp has also been in involved with real estate development and investing as a silent partner in a family run development company that has built numerous multi-family, single family and commercial projects. He has a BS degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Mississippi.
Rance R. Rogers
Mr. Rogers was one of the founding members of the Portofino Club and served on the original Advisory Board. He serves as President of Portofino Destinations Club with responsibilities for all member acquisition, management and services. Mr. Rogers is President of Rogers & Associations, Inc., dba the Ventures Group, a distribution and marketing company for health and wellness products. He successfully grew that company from a start-up to a multi-million dollar business over a 14-year period through the development of successful strategies, advertising programs and business processes, and by creating a national distributor organization to execute these plans.
Mr. Rogers previously worked for the Proctor & Gamble Distribution Co. in a variety of management positions, concluding as Senior Manager overseeing sales, marketing product supply and a Management Information System for a major national account. He has a BS degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Iowa State University.
Brian Wellens
Mr. Wellens is the founder and president of Continental Resort Homes, LLC. He is responsible for with responsibilities for all member acquisition, management and services of the Continental Collection of Portofino Destinations Club.
Mr. Wellens also serves as the President of Cheyenne Mountain Financial Group. He has served in this role since the company’s inception in May 1997. Cheyenne Mountain Financial Group is a real estate and portfolio private equity investment company. Cheyenne Mountain Financial Group has successfully developed myriad financial transactions to facilitate and capitalize both entrepreneurial start up companies and real estate ventures. Prior to Cheyenne Mountain Financial Group, Mr. Wellens was a private real estate advisor and investor with and to high net worth individuals and private clients working for Highland Commercial Group, LLC in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Mr. Wellens has an extensive track record of successfully building new companies into sustainable independent entities and successfully identifying new industry opportunities.
